What You Will Be Doing As Embedded Developer?

• Embedded Software Development: You will be responsible for developing embedded software solutions for devices, systems, or applications. This includes coding, debugging, and testing software modules using programming languages such as C, C++, or assembly language.
• System Design and Architecture: You will participate in system design and architecture discussions, contributing to the overall design of embedded systems. This involves understanding the requirements, identifying components, and defining the structure and interfaces of the embedded software.
• Hardware-Software Integration: You will work closely with hardware engineers to integrate the embedded software with the hardware components. This includes configuring, testing, and troubleshooting the software to ensure seamless interaction and optimal performance.
• Firmware Development: You may be involved in firmware development for microcontrollers, sensors, or other embedded devices. This includes writing low-level code to control hardware peripherals, implement device drivers, and manage system resources.
• Prototyping and Testing: You will participate in the prototyping phase, building and testing embedded systems to validate functionality, performance, and reliability. This may involve using tools like simulators, emulators, or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups.
• Documentation and Technical Specifications: You will be responsible for documenting the design, code, and technical specifications of the embedded software. This includes creating and maintaining documentation, user manuals, and release notes.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: You will diagnose and resolve software and system issues, performing debugging and troubleshooting activities. This involves analyzing logs, error messages, and using tools or techniques to identify and fix problems.

Skills Required for Embedded Developer

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or assembly language is essential for embedded development. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python can also be beneficial.
