Job Responsibility For Territory Sales Manger Role

  • Sales Strategy: Developing and executing a sales strategy for your assigned territory to achieve revenue and growth targets. Identifying target markets, customer segments, and sales opportunities.
  • Territory Management: Effectively managing and expanding the sales territory assigned to you. Analyzing market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify potential areas for business development.
  • Sales Planning and Forecasting: Creating sales plans, setting targets, and forecasting sales volumes for your territory. Developing strategies to maximize sales and meet or exceed targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers within your territory. Understanding their needs, providing product information, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • New Business Development: Proactively seeking and acquiring new customers and accounts within your territory. Identifying and targeting prospects, conducting sales presentations, and negotiating contracts to secure new business.

Job Responsibility For Area Sales Manager Role

  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing a sales strategy for the assigned area to achieve sales targets and business objectives. Planning and setting sales goals and targets for the sales team within the area.
  • Team Management: Leading and managing a team of sales representatives or sales executives within the area. Providing guidance, coaching, and training to the team members to enhance their sales skills and performance.
  • Territory Management: Managing and expanding the sales territory assigned to the area. Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competition to identify potential areas for business development and growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers within the area. Understanding their needs, providing product information, addressing inquiries, and resolving any customer issues or concerns.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitoring the sales performance within the area, tracking individual and team sales targets, and taking appropriate actions to achieve or exceed sales goals. Analyzing sales data and trends to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies for growth.
