What You Will Be Doing As Account Payable Associate ?
- Unassigned invoices: Review, code, and assign invoices in Concur daily.
- Invoice approval: Ensure that all invoices are reviewed in Concur and are correctly coded, including correct coding for prepaid, fixed assets, etc. per the company policy.
- Reconcile invoices from Concur to PeopleSoft on a batch basis.
- Assist with payment runs in PeopleSoft for vendor invoices as needed.
- Resolve vendor queries and reconcile vendor statements.
- Update manuals to document all monthly procedural steps.
- Assist with compiling the list of accruals for the month-end close.
- Become an expert in Concur to support internal business users with invoice questions and training.
- Conduct ad hoc reporting, additional projects involving account analysis and research, month-end duties and responses to audit requests.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of accounting software applications such as Concur, and PeopleSoft is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, sharp attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with international and cross functional teams.
