OakNorth Bank Off Campus Drive – Roles & Responsibilities For INTERN – INTERNAL AUDIT
- Help in the development of audit plans, including identifying key areas to be audited based on risk assessment, understanding the business processes, and reviewing previous audit findings.
- Participate in audit fieldwork, which involves gathering and analyzing data, examining documentation, interviewing staff, and testing controls to assess their effectiveness.
- Assist in documenting audit procedures, findings, and recommendations in audit workpapers. Contribute to the preparation of audit reports summarizing key findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in identifying risks within business processes and evaluating the adequacy of controls in place to mitigate those risks. This may involve understanding regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Help track and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations by management. Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution.
