JOB RESPONSIBILITY FOR RETAIL ACCOUNTANT
- To prepare monthly profitability/balance sheet.
- Checking of Bills with PO/SO along with Agreement
- Reconciliation of Vendor/License/Inter Units Accounts
- Physical Verification of Stocks/FA inventory
- Preparation of TDS Return
- Managing financial records: This involves keeping track of all financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and inventory. You’ll need to ensure that all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and well-organized.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR RETAIL ACCOUNTANT
- Financial Management: A Retail Accountant should have strong knowledge of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Accounting Software: Retail Accountants should be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other similar programs.
- Attention to Detail: Retail Accountants should have excellent attention to detail and be able to identify discrepancies in financial statements.
- Communication: Retail Accountants must have strong communication skills, as they will be working with various stakeholders within the organization, including sales staff and management.
