Roles & Responsibilities for Spend Data Analyst
- Analyze procurement and spend data over suppliers, categories, business units, geographies etc to get insights about trends patterns opportunities.
- Perform Supplier Data Tasks such as Supplier Normalization, Duplicate Detection and Identification and Supplier Consolidation Assessment.
- Spend analytics for support data cleansing, validation, classification and categorization to activate quality spend analysis.
- Procurement Data | Understand, analyze various procurements transactions (purchase orders, invoices, purchases of goods/services and other data related to spend)
- Data analysis to know your maverick spend with fragmented spend, supplier concentration and find all other procurement opportunities.
- Understand business requirements along with customer stakeholders and interpret them into analytical outputs as well as work with senior consultants.
- You will generate spend reports, dashboards, analytical outputs and management-ready presentations for internal and customer stakeholders.
- Assist in designing/maintaining spend taxonomies and category hierarchies to facilitate spending analysis.
- Conduct data quality checks and troubleshoot abnormalities, inconsistencies, and missing procurement records.
Eligibility Criteria for Spend Data Analyst
- 0 to 2 years of experience in analytics, consulting, procurement, business analysis or related field. Job seekers with solid analytical skills are welcome to apply.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a field of Economics, Finance or another related subject (Business Statistics/Math optional).
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel; hands on experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau or any analytics tools is a plus.
