Job Responsibility For Treasury Analyst Role
- Cash Management: Monitoring and managing the organization’s cash flows, including cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity management. This involves analyzing cash balances, projecting cash needs, and making recommendations for optimizing cash utilization.
- Bank Relationship Management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions. Managing bank accounts, coordinating account openings or closures, and conducting regular banking transactions such as wire transfers or account reconciliations.
- Cash Flow Analysis: Analyzing cash inflows and outflows to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Assisting in the development of cash flow forecasts, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
- Financial Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and managing financial risks, such as interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, or credit risk. Implementing risk mitigation strategies, including hedging strategies or insurance coverage.
- Debt and Investment Management: Assisting in managing the organization’s debt portfolio and investment activities. Monitoring debt levels, interest payments, and debt compliance requirements. Analyzing investment opportunities and making recommendations to optimize returns while managing risk.

Skills Required For Treasury Analyst
- Financial Analysis: Strong financial analysis skills to analyze and interpret financial data, perform cash flow projections, and assess investment opportunities. Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk analysis.
- Cash Management: Knowledge of cash management principles and techniques, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimization. Ability to effectively manage cash balances and ensure adequate liquidity for the organization’s operations.
