Job Responsibility For Staff Accountant Role
- Financial recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions, verifying entries, and reconciling accounts.
- General ledger maintenance: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including posting journal entries and ensuring proper classification and coding.
- Financial statement preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounts payable and receivable: Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements. Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data and analysis, tracking variances, and assisting with financial projections.
