What you will be doing as Medical Transcriber?
- Transcribing Medical Dictations: Listen to audio recordings of medical professionals, such as doctors or physicians, and accurately transcribe their dictations into written reports, letters, or other medical documents. This includes capturing medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and other relevant information.
- Maintaining Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of transcriptions by carefully listening to audio recordings and paying attention to details. Verify medical terminology, medications, and patient information to minimize errors and inconsistencies in the transcribed documents.
- Formatting and Editing: Format transcriptions according to specific guidelines and templates provided by the healthcare facility. Edit and proofread the documents to ensure grammatical correctness, clarity, and adherence to professional standards.
- Medical Terminology and Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of medical terminology, abbreviations, and procedures to accurately transcribe and interpret medical dictations. Stay updated on medical advancements and terminology to ensure accurate and up-to-date transcriptions.
- Confidentiality and Data Security: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations when handling sensitive patient information. What you will be doing as Staff Nurse?
- Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with activities of daily living, wound care, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, nursing assessments, and care plans. Document patient care interventions, treatments, and responses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, therapists, and other nurses, to develop and implement patient care plans. Communicate effectively and exchange information regarding patient conditions, progress, and any changes in treatment plans.
